Our Department of English is another language department at graduation level that came into offing in August 2015, affiliated to University of Lucknow. The Department has been working towards enriching and strengthening literary and language studies by teaching in areas as British, American, Australian and contemporary literature. Indian writings in English, and other language Literature in Translation is the key subject area while studying English Literature offering wealth of benefits that extend far beyond the classroom, shaping well-rounded individuals prepared for diverse paths. Literature enhances communication skills, class discussions and presentations on literary work develop verbal communication and the ability to articulate compare ideas effectively. It provides to articulate insights into different cultures, societies and historical periods, broadening students horizons and promoting empathy for diverse human experiences. By encountering various characters and their struggle, students develop a deeper understanding of human nature and different world views.
