B.Sc. NURSING

( DURATION - 4 YEARS)

B.Sc. Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate program that trains students to become professional nurses. The course covers subjects like anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, and community health. It combines classroom learning with clinical experience, preparing graduates to provide quality healthcare in hospitals, clinics, and community settings.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: - Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2025.
Minimum qualifications for admission are as per INC Regulation: -
1. Candidates with Science who have passed qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
2. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together shall be 40% instead of 45% for General Category candidates
3. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in B.Sc. Nursing.
4. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central government having Science subjects and English only.
5. Colour Blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
6. The selection of candidates will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board constituted by the Government Medical College or the District CMO.
7. Married candidates are also eligible.

BACHELOR IN MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE

( DURATION - 4 YEARS)

The Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science is a 3 to 4-year undergraduate program that trains students in diagnosing diseases through laboratory testing. The course covers clinical biochemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunology, and molecular biology. Graduates play a vital role in healthcare by providing accurate lab results that support patient diagnosis and treatment in hospitals, diagnostic labs, and research centers.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: - Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2025.
Minimum qualifications: -
1. Candidate with Science Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology in 12th Standard examination is eligible for all Paramedical Bachelor’s Courses provided he/she has obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
2. Candidate with Science Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in 12th Standard examination is eligible for the following Paramedical Bachelor’s Courses only – a. Bachelor of Optometry b. Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology provided that he/she has obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
Minimum qualifications: -
3. Candidate with Science Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology in 12th Standard examination is eligible for the following Paramedical Bachelor’s Courses only – a. Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology provided that he/she has obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology and passed in English individually from any recognized board. .
4. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45%.

DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY

( DURATION - 2 YEARS)

DMLT is a 2-year diploma course that trains students in performing laboratory tests essential for diagnosing and treating diseases. The program covers key areas like biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, and hematology. Graduates can work as lab technicians in hospitals, diagnostic centers, and research labs, playing a crucial role in medical investigations.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology Or Physics, Chemistry, Maths with 35% marks in Intermediate exams. (From UP board or any other recognised board).
Age: Candidate must have completed age of 17 years of age as on 31st December of admission year. There is no maximum age limit for the admission

OPERATION THEATRE TECHNICIAN (OT TECH)

( DURATION - 2 YEARS)

The Operation Theatre Technician course is a diploma program that trains students to assist during surgeries by managing surgical instruments, sterilization, and patient preparation. It focuses on operation theatre protocols, anesthesia support, and infection control. Graduates are equipped to work alongside surgeons and nurses in hospitals, emergency units, and surgical centers.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology Or Physics, Chemistry, Maths with 35% marks in Intermediate exams. (From UP board or any other recognised board)

X-RAY TECHNICIAN (X-RAY TECH) COURSE

( DURATION - 2 YEARS)

The X-Ray Technician course is a diploma program that trains students in operating X-ray machines and other imaging equipment used for diagnosing medical conditions. The course covers radiographic techniques, patient positioning, radiation safety, and image processing. Graduates can work in hospitals, diagnostic centers, and radiology labs as skilled imaging professionals.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Maths with 35% marks in Intermediate exams. (From UP board or any other recognised board).
Age: Candidate must have completed age of 17 years of age as on 31st December of admission year. There is no maximum age limit for the admission.

GNM

( DURATION - 3 YEARS)

GNM is a 3-year diploma course that prepares students to become competent nurses. The program focuses on nursing care, midwifery, and community health. It combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on clinical training, enabling graduates to work in hospitals, clinics, and community healthcare settings.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: - Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December, 2025.
Minimum qualifications for admission are as per INC Regulation: -
1. Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM: (a). 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognised board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognised by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognised by Central Government. However, Science is preferable. Three (core elective) subject marks may be taken for calculating the percentage of marks excluding the marks in English. Also, it has to be ensured that the candidate has pass marks in English. (b). 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognised by Indian Nursing Council. (c). 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational stream- healthcare science from a recognised CBSE board/State/Centre. (d). Registered ANM with passing marks. Note: 5% of total marks are relaxed for SC/ST Candidates.
2. Student should be medically fit. (For disabled candidates with a disability of loco-motor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to qualification will be same as prescribed for their category candidates.)
